Sunday Workshops April 2, 2017

Posted March 10, 2017 By Sue Chari

Tim Macdonald and Jeremy Ward, visiting from Chicago, believe education is an important part of their role as musicians. Their workshops take principles from their study of historical performance and apply them to modern fiddle playing.

In the Beginner/ Intermediate workshop Tim and Jeremy plan to teach a tune or two and talk about their historical (baroque) bows, instruments and how they affect their style of playing.

In the intermediate/advanced workshop they plan to teach a tune  and explore how mood and affect change enhances the performance.
